So this is the same kind of set up you have. auto fishing. A few modifications, same concept.

Yes, you are auto fishing. Even in this video, you have to hold down a mouse button. Easy to have something on the mouse
button holding it down while you go off and do other things.

I count 5 double chests, 3 single chests and a shulker chest full of loot. By your logs, some of the loot is legit.

From what I have seen, there is no way you can get a full double chest full of enchanted books in the short amount of time this map has been open to the public.

For any staff, I have set up a private warp so you can see what I am talking about. It is /w cht . I will keep it up until this ban has been closed. I have screen shots of all the chests. I can up load them if needed.

I am open to comments /  suggestions on what can be done with something like this.

Oye. This ones a bit a headache for me. Does this fall in to rules 2? Should something like this be addressed to one of us staffers before being utilized, obviously yes. I watched the video so if its the same contraption as that then it does in my view break rule 2. On the other hand you have been a trusted member of this gaming community with no issues that i have ever been aware of. And by looking at the chests that is an awful a lot of goodies in such a short amount of time, i agree. My opinions on the matter would be as follows... a temp ban, to be decided upon by Cheech and Pips and all items gathered by this method disposed of. But how do we determine which ones were gained via legit methods? At that point we could dispose of all common fishing loot items from those chests and start a new leaf bearing in mind that the staffers will probably keep a close eye on the player AND any other players using this sort of  exploit. Any other insights?

I was with Cheech when this was discovered.  Yes it is almost identical to the video.  it appeared to have some mechanical lock in to make this repeat this definitely breaks rule 2.  I will defer to Admins to how to handle

Wow Tist.. you surprised me. I would expect that from a new player. What were you thinking? 
2nd chance.. yes, but should we expect similar things in future? You know every staff member on this server.. why not checking with us first?

I am against temp ban. And no rollbacks. Can we agree on taking all your chest items (basicaly all your possesions except built stuff) and put in special storage for future event awards? And no more stunts like these?

If Tist gets banned, I would be bummed. Really bummed  . We are human: we make mistakes. Tistonic made a big one, but he deserves another chance. I truly believe he didn't mean to break any rules. I agree with what pips said: take away all chest items. I don't think there should be any other consequences because I do believe this was a mistake.

I am against the ban for Tistonic, he's a nice player who set off on the wrong foot.

Thanks for the timely response everyone.  Yes I agree Tistonic has been a trusted member of this community. Helped lots of players get stated.  This would be considered a temp ban so to speak. I like the idea from Pips about keeping the chests for future events, just need to make a protected area to store the items. Once everything has been moved and the contraption has been dismantled then we can move on.

Move the chests/items for future events.
Dismantle the contraption.

Once this is done, can unban.

would any of u staff be willing to test the fishing speed, the amount of loot is about 6hours work, its not much, u can test how fast u fished 2chest full with best fishing rod, item will varys amount ofcourse, there were more fishes and other junk but i threw them out since it doesn't provide any value because its easy to get those
